When Arcadio is captured by the wicked Snow Queen Elvera, the village master Rainard creates a Test of Love Tournament. Those pure of heart should be able to make it through the Frost Forest safely. When betrothed Ivy and Hawthorne don’t return, Onyx and Rose are next in line to test their dedication. Will they pass the Test of Love Tournament? Or will the bitter cold and mysterious howling freeze them in their tracks?

ONYX: Tenor, betrothed to Rose, resides in the Village

ROSE: Soprano, betrothed to Onyx, resides in the Village

ELVERA: Soprano, the Snow Queen, ruler of the Frost Forest

RAINARD: Baritone, Rose’s father, master of the Village

IVY: Mezzo-soprano, the White Wolf, Leader of the Winter Wolves, resides in the Frost Forest

HAWTHORNE: Baritone, betrothed to Ivy, the first solo survivor of the Tournament, resides in the Village

OWEYN: Baritone, resides in the Village

ARCADIO: Baritone, Second in Command of the Winter Wolf Pack, the first person to be captured by the Snow Queen. Doubles as a Villager

PRINCESS WILLOW: Soprano, adopted daughter of the Wolf King & Queen. Doubles as a Villager

PINE: Tenor, loyal Wolf Guard. Doubles as a Villager

ENSEMBLE: Embodies the people of the Village as well as the pack of Winter Wolves
